Saligerm G-2

Propylene Glycol (and) Diazolidinyl Urea (and) Methylparaben (and) Propylparaben

Saligerm G-2 is a liquid preservative that provides antimicrobial protection - which means it can protect your formulations from microorganisms such as bacteria or mold. It is a combination of parabens and diazolidnyl urea in propylene glycol. This preservative can be used in creams and lotions, wet wipes and surfactant based formulations such as shampoos and foam baths.

Uses & Applications

Can be used without additional co-preservatives and is compatible with essentially all cosmetic ingredients, including surfactants and proteins. Also used to preserve troublesome formulations containing non-ionic surfactants, proteins, soluble collagen, aloe vera extracts and herbal extracts. Used in shampoos, hair conditioners, emulsion products and creams and lotions.
